Information For Patients
My First Visit.
At Kenneth Holton DDS PA your oral health is our priority. We will do our best to ensure you receive the dental treatment you need in a cost effective and comfortable manner. As a new patient, the initial visit/appointment will consist of taking the appropriate radiographs, photographs, periodontal measurements, cancer screening, TMJ screening, detection of caries, detection of faulty restorations. Once the records are obtained, Dr. Holton will confer with the patient to create a plan of treatment sequenced to meet the expectations and goals of the patient. Please download our patients forms and/or come to the initial appointment 30 minutes early to complete the necessary paperwork. Please take the time to list all current medications and major health issues incurred. If you have dental insurance , please bring information associated with the policy. There are so many different companies offering different coverages. Patients need to do their due diligence in finding out the nuances of the coverage they have.
Financing & Insurance.
Our practice accepts most insurance plans as an out-of-network provider. As a courtesy, our insurance coordinator will file claims on your behalf. Most dental insurance companies will cover the majority of preventive and diagnostic services, but often place limitations on some routine and non-routine treatments. We will do our best to maximize all benefits you are entitled.
We strongly believe dental insurance entities should not dictate who your dentist may be and/or place restrictions on the care you receive. You should be able to keep the dentist/provider you both know and trust to have your best interests at hand. Most assuredly, some insurance companies will contact their customers and say our fees are higher than the “usual and customary” ones they allow and ask you to find another provider “they control” or to accept a less expensive treatment option to save themselves money …there is no concern for trust, comfort, or quality. You do have a choice!

We accept cash, checks, debit cards, and major credit cards. Additionally, we offer Care Credit for patients needing more extensive care and extended payment options. Care Credit is designed to help you pay for elective dental care with low monthly payments and interest free programs. Applications are available in the office or you can call 1-800-677-0718.
Please note that Kenneth E. Holton, DDS is a fee-for-service dental practice. We do not participate with HMOs or Medicaid/Medicare.
